The Four Stages of Getting Drunk

Going out for a night of drinking with your friends is fun.  Its a good way to relax and have a nice time. For best results, you are going to want to know the stage of getting drunk.  It helps if you have a good idea of what your tolerance level is prior to heading out.  Some people can drink a lot without any problems.  Others will be wasted after just a few drinks. Know your limits.

HERE ARE THE FOUR STAGES OF GETTING DRUNK

Stage One: Happy and Fun
You have a nice “buzz” going on, and are feeling physically relaxed.  You are able to laugh and joke with your friends, and have a good time.  The music at the bar sounds a little bit richer than when you are sober.  This is the stage of getting drunk that you want to stay in.
Stage Two: A Few Too Many
You are slurring your words and have become a little clumsy.  You have started talking in a louder volume than is appropriate, but don’t realize it.  The accent you usually try to suppress has returned.   You might have a slight hangover the next morning. Yes you are getting drunk.
Stage Three: No More For You
You have become “that guy” that people avoid when they go out to drink.  You now believe that everyone in the bar is your very best friend and have started trying to hug them.  Or, you could be hitting on people whom you would not find the least bit attractive if you were sober.  You don’t realize it, but your sober friends are trying to diffuse the situation so you don’t end up in a fist fight.  You will have a huge hangover the next morning.
Stage Four: Things Just Got Serious
You have “blacked out” and won’t remember any of this in the morning.  Your personality has completely changed.  You are usually happy, but are now talking about suicide.  Your friends take you home, and hold back your hair while you throw up.  You will have the mother of all hangovers in the morning.  Your friends won’t want to go drinking with you again.
